Djinn Saout Pays Tribute to Ensor

The Belgian, French-language rock band, Djinn Saout, composed a tribute to the oeuvre of James Ensor, baron of the masquerade. The group is inspired by a number of well-known works by the artist.

Their tight guitar sound, hammering drums and raw vocals seamlessly connect to the themes and the techniques that Ensor made his own: the city of Ostend and the Rue de Flandre/Vlaanderenstraat, skeletons and masks, the signature use of colour and play with light.
