Documentary Collections

Finally, we can indicate a number of important ephemera or documentary collections along with the presentation of the Ensor Archival material.

These are the result of collection activity and have de facto a broad intrinsic radius of activity. They are currently supplemented with relevant documentation on the figure and the work of Ensor. The Ensor collection of the Study and Documentary Centre for Flemish Art 1800-1950 in the Museum of Fine Arts Ghent constitutes a fine representation of the genre.
