2 new Online Publications
Two new online publications reveal new insights concerning the oeuvre of James Ensor. Researcher Patrick Florizoone investigates the painting Ensor et Leman discutant peinture from 1890. It is a rare occasion that Ensor shows his true feelings so unrestrained. Before and after this, he shall never paint so personally and intimately again. In a second online publication researcher Xavier Tricot enlightens the reader on Ensor's use of photographs. Quite some important works were based on photographs.
